Welcome!

The undergraduate research club is a great way to connect with the ongoing undergrad research projects at NSCC.

This current academic year we have 5 research projects goings:

- Growth of the green microalga Botryococcus Braunii in a vertical photobioreactor

- Antibacterial properties of Copper applied to water purification

- Identification and mapping of harmful algal blooms in the Puget Sound

- Microplastic identification with the Atomic Force Microscope

- Quantifying Microplastics in Lake Washington and Surrounding Watershed

If you're interested in learning more about these projects (and want some free food!) come to the Green Room on March 16th from 12pm to 2pm for presentations on each!
